Every student at Rye Middle School has the right to feel comfortable, feel safe, and be heard. The Dean of Students' Office addresses not only behavior and attendance issues, but affords students the opportunity to voice their concerns. Student schedules, locks and lockers, as well as agenda/assignment pads are issued from the Dean of Students' Office. Locker problems or forgotten combinations can be brought to the attention of the Dean of Students for immediate solution. The Dean of Students communicates with the principal, counselors, teachers, and parents if problems are preventing a student from succeeding in school.
