AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
The Osborn PTO sponsors an after school club program which offers a variety of activities for the students to take part in. The goal of this program is to introduce new activities to students which are fun and educational.
The Fall Session which runs for 5 weeks starting in October focuses on outdoor activities including soccer, basketball, sports clubs and cheerleading to name a few.
The Winter Session is the largest offering with about 30 clubs which take place in the classrooms. The Session runs 8 weeks starting in January. There is a wide variety of classes including cartooning, chess, Tae Kwon Do, model building, pottery, languages, Mad Science, drawing and many more.
The Spring Session which runs 5 weeks starting in April also focuses on outdoor activities very much like those offered in the fall.
All clubs are held at the school from 3-4pm. and are taught by teachers, aides, parents and professionals. Communications for sign up and dates will be provided in back pack mail. Enrollment is done by lottery for each session. A large portion of the costs is funded by the PTO. The coordination and managing of the clubs are by volunteers from the PTO.
