STUDENT PROCEDURES
A)  Wait on sidewalk until car or parent/guardian arrives
B)  Do not cross into parking lot, or between cars
C)  Cross Boston Post Road with Crossing Guard at light
D)  Do Not Cross Boston Post Road at Sonn Drive
E)  Do Not Get Into Cars on Boston Post Road

We want all children to remain on the sidewalk, because of the poor visibility of today’s vehicles.

ILLEGAL PARKING STICKERS
After careful review and thorough consideration, the Excellence Team, PTO Board, and Parking Task Force have decided to use orange stickers to help alleviate traffic congestion.  All other schools in Rye currently use these stickers as well.  The orange stickers will say “You Are Illegally Parked” and are the size of an 8”x11” standard paper.  The stickers will be used to discourage repeat offenders of the parking rules.  A razor blade or other sharp object is needed to remove orange stickers.

OSBORN ROAD PARKING
Parking is available in unnumbered spots at the school and along Osborn Road. Please be respectful of the neighboring residents and do not use their driveways as turnarounds. The street is very narrow and the residents often have a difficult time with Osborn traffic. Please be respectful of their property.

Front Parking Lot Guidelines 2005-2006
Please help us keep our children safe by following these guidelines!
• K, 1st & 2nd Graders are to be picked up in the front of
  the school.
• Do not park in numbered parking spaces.
• No unattended vehicles in pick up lanes
• No stopping or standing in passing lanes
• Please do not block the entrance

Back Parking Lot Guidelines 2005-2006
Please help us keep our children safe by following these guidelines!

• 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders to get into cars from Pick    Up Area only!
• Park only in designated parking spaces. Do not park    in numbered spaces.
• Do not leave your vehicle unattended anywhere in    line
• No parking or standing in any lane
• You can now go straight or turn left from the middle    lane
• Right turn only from the right lane
