DEFENSE AND INDEMNIFICATION

The Board of Education of the Rye City School District adopts the coverage provided by Section 18 of the New York State Public Officers Law for officers, interim officers and employees of the School District, and audit committee members. This coverage shall supplement and be in addition to the coverage available to such officers and employees by other enactments or from other sources. The Superintendent or his designee shall take steps to obtain insurance against this potential liability to the District.
