The Board of Education shall hold the annual organization meeting in the first week of July. It shall be held in a school building as designated on the annual calendar of meetings.

At the annual organization meeting, the Board shall elect from its membership a President and a Vice President who shall serve for one year, or until a successor is elected. At the same meeting, the Board shall provide financial authorizations. In addition, the Board shall set the days and hours of Board meetings.

The annual organization meeting shall be open to the public. The minutes of the annual organization meeting shall be recorded by the District Clerk.
