LAST CHANCE RESOLUTION AND MEDIATION
SESSIONS
The Board of Education designates the Director of Special Education and Pupil Support Services or his or her designee in his or her absence, to attend last chance resolution sessions or mediation sessions required by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 with the authority to execute settlement agreements on behalf of the District, following consultation with the Superintendent of Schools, where practicable.
Upon the execution of any settlement agreement as described above, the Board of Education President or Vice President, in his or her absence, shall be immediately notified of the contents of any settlement agreement.
